Revised ........I received a comment today saying a certain location wouldn't accept the printable. I called Customer Service and sure enough....Dollar General does not accept printables. I have left the original post up with the information regarding the current price, however you cannot us the printable for this deal. Sorry for the inconvenience. $2.50 is still a great price.
I loved this little guy as a kid and still do today. Who didn't have a Mr. Potato Head as a child. He was so much fun to play with and make different faces. Well, he's still around and you can get him for $2.50
I stopped in at the Dollar General on Madison Avenue last night to get some tape (can you believe I actually ran out?) to wrap more gifts. One of the sweet ladies in the store recognized me because she follows my blog and she rushed over to tell me about the Potato Head deal. In the Dollar General Toy Book there is a deal for Mr. Potato Head for $2.50.
Thanks Candy for letting me in on this deal. I honestly hadn't look at the Toy Book. I love when people share great deals with me so that I can share them with you guys. Dollar General is everywhere across the U.S. so the deal is in all of the stores.
Don't have a little one to give a Mr. Potato Head to........be generous and purchase one and give it to the Christmas Crusade. Becky will be very happy.
This deal won't work for me here as my Dollar General refuses to accept printed manufacturer coupons. They say that it's corporate policy. I do love this site and come back several times a day to make sure I get in on most deals. Thanks
ReplyDeleteO.K. I called Customer Service and talked to a very nice person named Krista. I explained the situation to Krista who told me that unfortunately she was "not allowed to discuss Corporate Policy". However, she asked for the store information where I went, my name and phone number and put me on hold. Then she came back on line and said that she checked with her Supervisor who said they will not accept printables. I asked if I could get a copy of the corporate policy to put up here and she said I would have to check with the store as each store is different and it is up to the Management of any given store.
ReplyDeleteSooooo, while you cannot get Mr. Potatoe Head for $.50, I still think $2.50 is an outstanding price considering the cheapest I have seen them anywhere else is $5 on sale. So, I apologize for the inconvenience and misinformation. I think the person who told me last night was either unaware of the policy or maybe accepting coupons she shouldn't accept.
