There are a lot of ways to roll the Register Rewards this time as there are so many great, inexpensive stocking stuffers. For me, as there is not a whole lot I need and I'm trying to keep the spending down and only go after items that I will definitely need/use over the next year, I will get the Nyquil which will give me $5 Register Rewards. Then I will turn around and purchase the 2 Sweet N Low plus 2 Herbal Essence Shampoos. (Remember my earlier post on doing the inventory and needing to stock up on shampoo?)

So my math should be like this: 2 Nyquil $10 + .60 tax = $10.60 - $1 coupon - $1 coupon = $8.60 out of pocket + $5 Register Rewards. Then purchase 2 Sweet N Low $2.49 + $2.49 + 2 Herbal Essence Shampoos + $2.99 + $2.99 + $.65 (tax) = $11.61 - $2.49 (Free Sweet N Low) - $.35 coupon - $.35 coupon - $2.99 (free Shampoo) - $5 Register Reward = $.43 Out of Pocket. So for a total of $9.03 I get 2 Nyquil, 2 Sweet N Low and 2 Herbal Essence Shampoo. I am still paying less than the original sale cost of 2 Nyquil for $10. Works for me.
