Target Rayovac Batteries - Free

Last year at this time Rayovac offered a pdf for $1/1 on any Rayovac battery pack. Needless to say I stocked up. Well this year they have done it again through a Sweepstakes they have running from November 27, 2009 to July 31, 2010. It appears that they are distributing packages with game pieces inside. If the game piece says you are a winner, you call the number on the game piece to win a prize. The Grand Prize is $500,000. Here's the kicker, when you go here and enter the code from the back of the package, you will be directed to a $1/1 printable coupon. Here's a code for you to enter.....74016761. The great thing is when the coupon comes up, it's a pdf, same as last year. Which means.....you can print the coupon as many times as you'd like.

Now, if you are not a regular Target shopper, here's the diddy for you....Target regularly offers Rayovac batteries for $1 in the Dollar Section of the store. At the store in Florence, Kentucky, it's to the left after you pass the main entrance area of the store. Last year I purchased 20 packages of batteries in a variety of sizes. I didn't go in and buy 20 at a time. I purchased five a day until I had what I wanted. Gotta let other people get some too! One of the things that I experienced last year was every time I went in the coupons worked perfectly. One time they wouldn't scan, but the cashier just entered the code from the coupon and voila, no problem. Make certain when you print yours that your printer has plenty of Ink. Makes it easier to scan.

Little tidbit for you.......to make your batteries last a veerrrrryyyy lonnnnnng time.....put them in the freezer. It works!

This is a great deal and I am glad that Rayovac is offering it again this year. And, this is another stock up item. So after you rush over to Target (play nice in the sandbox) and get your batteries, you will have stocked up this week on Snuggle Fabric Softener from Wal-Mart and batteries from Target. Your stockpile is growing. That's the point. You purchase an item or two each week that you get for next to nothing or nothing and pretty soon you will have your very own store.

And don't forget to cross batteries off of your grocery list.
